The Group's principal activities are to acquire, own and develop neighbourhood and community shopping centres in Canada and the United States. As on 31-Dec-2008, the Group owns interests in 172 properties including sfive under development totalling 20.1 million square feet of gross leasable area and six land sites in the planning stage for future retail development. The Group's properties are located in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
