Fertilisers And Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) is engaged in manufacture and marketing of fertilizers and petrochemicals, engineering consultancy and design and in fabrication and erection of industrial equipments. The Company operates in two segments: Fertilizer, which includes ammonium phosphate, ammonium sulphate, mixtures, muriate of potash (MOP) and urea, and Petrochemical, which include caprolactam. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012 (fiscal 2012), FACT’s Udyogamandal Division produced 1,68,236 million tons of Factamfos 20:20, and 1,63,468 million tons of ammonium sulphate. During fiscal 2012, FACT's Cochin Division produced 4,49,159 million tons of Factamfos 20:20, and 2,58,900 million tons of sulphuric acid and 53,435 million tons of phosphoric acid. During fiscal 2012, the Company’s fertiliser sales was 8.40 Lakh million tons sale of Facatmfos was 5,82,471 million tons. During fiscal 2012, FACT sold 54 million tons of bio-fertilisers.
