Ferrovia Centro-Atlantica SA (FCA) is a Brazil-based cargo railroad transportation company. It is engaged in the provision of railway transportation services, loading, unloading, storage and transshipment services. The Company is also active as a port operator. FCA joins railways with sea and river ports, including ports of Salvador (Bahia), Aratu (Bahia), Vitoria (Espirito Santo), Angra dos Reis (Rio de Janeiro), Pirapora (Minas Gerais) and Juazeiro (Bahia). The Company has the concession for the exploration and development of public cargo railway transportation service of Malha Centro-Leste. The railway lines of Malha Centro-Leste, 7,840 kilometers, cover the Brazilian states of Sergipe, Bahia, Goias, Espirito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo and Distrito Federal. As of January 5, 2012, the Company is wholly owned by Vale Operacoes Ferroviarias SA.
