Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activity is to provide investment management products and related financial services including mutual funds and separately managed accounts. It provides investment advisory services to 148 Group-sponsored funds as of December 31, 2007. The Group markets these funds to banks, broker/dealers and other financial intermediaries to meet the needs of the customers, including retail investors, corporations and retirement plans. It also provides a broad range of services to support the operation, administration and distribution of Group-sponsored funds. The Group acquired Rochdale Investment Management LLC on 24-Aug-2007 & Minority Interest in Dix Hills Partners LLC & Dix Hills Associates LLC in second quarter 2007. |
