| The Group's principal activity is to provide educational services. It offers more than 90 graduation programs in the area of engineering, technology, life and health sciences and social sciences. It also offers nearly 140 post-graduate programs in the area of law, research and development, computer science and technical sales and services. On 31/03/2008 it has 198 thousand students with 2 universities, 15 colleges and 67 campuses in which 38 are in the state of Rio de Janeiro and 29 campuses in 11 other Brazilian states. On 03/09/2007 the Group acquired Irep Sociedade de Ensino Superior Medio e Fundamental Ltda and Faculdade Radial de Curitiba Sociedade Ltda. |
