The Group's principal activities are fleet operations and chartering. The Group's fleet operations are managed on a worldwide basis from India. The Group, through its subsidiary, Essar Logistics Limited (ELL), provides transshipment, lighterage and trucking services to steel mills and oil refineries. The Group operates in India, in parts of Asia, United States and Europe.
