| The Group's principal activity is to produce non-ferrous metals and their chemical derivatives, alloys and high-performance parts for industries. The Group operates under three segments: Manganese, Alloys and Nickel. Under the segment Nickel, the Group is engaged in mining, smelting, and refining of nickel and manufacture of nickel products. Under the Manganese segment, the Group undertakes the conversion of the ore to ferroalloys and manganese chemical derivatives. Under the Alloys segment, it develops alloys, special steels, tool steels, high-speed steels and super alloys which are transformed by forging and rolling. The Group operates in Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. In 2008, the Group acquired Eralloys (ex-Tinfos). |
