The Group's principal activities are to manufacture process and sell precision plastics. The operations are carried out through following divisions: Engineering Plastic; Semiconductor Equipment; Optical and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). The Engineering Plastic segment manufactures and sells high-precision gear-applied office automation (OA) and telecommunications devices, magnetic and optical memory equipment, and carburetor engine mechanical products. The Semiconductor Equipment segment offers integrated circuit (IC) sockets. The Optical segment offers lens units, pick-up optical products for compact disc (CD)/digital versatile disc (DVD) recorders/players and optical communication devices. The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) segment manufactures and sells light guide panels for LCD backlights. The Company is also engaged in the research and development activities.
