| The Group's principal activity is manufacturing and selling commercial food equipment through its Global Food Service Equipment and Food Retail Equipment groups. The Group's Food Service Equipment businesses provides primary cooking, ovens, storage, preparation and holding, ice and beverage cooling and dispense equipment to restaurants and other customers worldwide. They also include Food Retail Equipment operations which provide walk-in-cold storage and refrigeration display cases and systems to supermarkets and convenience stores. Product brands includes Cleveland, Convotherm, Delfield, Frymaster, Garland, Icematic, Ice-o-matic, Jackson, Kysor/Warren, Kysor Panel Systems, Lincoln, Merrychef, Mile High, New Ton, Scotsman, Scotsman Beverage Systems, and Viscount. The Group also has property development operations, which include the management of residual property portfolio. During 2007, the Group acquired the entire share capital of Fabristeel Group Ltd. |
