The Group's principal activities are the production, import and export, transmission and distribution of electricity for domestic and industrial use. Other activities include the management of gas distribution plant and gas sales. The Group operates in Italy, Europe, North America, Central and South America. As on 19-May-2008 the Group acquired International Wind Park of Crete and Hydro Constructional and On 30-Jun-2008 the Group acquired Marcinelle Energy.
