Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activity is producing and commercializing pulp, wood, paper, tissue products and paper products. It operates through five business divisions: Forestry, Pulp, Tissue, Paper and Paper Products. Forestry is involved in producing solid wood products, as well as managing and maintaining forest resources which support the industrial activity of the Group. Pulp is involved in producing softwood pulp and rolled fluff, hardwood pulp, craft paper, sacks and white paper. Paper is involved in producing folding boxboard, printing and writing paper, newsprint, corrugated material and wrapping paper. Tissue is involved in producing and selling toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, facial tissues, disposable diapers, sanitary pads and other hygiene products. Paper Products is involved in producing corrugated boxes, paper bags and moulded pulp trays and cases for fruit and eggs. The Group has operations in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico. |
