The Group's principal activities are generating, transporting, distributing and supplying electric energy. It also provides engineering services. It participates in the Sistema Interconectado Central (Central Interconnection System), which is the interconnection system of the country that provides for 93% of the Chilean population. It also participates in the Sistema Interconectado del Norte Grande (Norte Grande Interconnection System) through its subsidiary Celta, and indirectly participates through Gasoducto Atacama Chile and GasAtacama Generacion, supplying various mining companies. The Group and its subsidiaries operate 50 plants in four Latin American countries - Chile, Colombia, Brazil and Peru, with a total installed capacity of 12,720 Megawatts.
