| The Group's principal activities are generating, transporting, distributing and supplying electric energy. It participates in the Sistema Interconectado Central (Central Interconnection System), which is the interconnection system of the country that provides for 93% of the national population and 50% of which is represented by the company. It also participates in the Sistema Interconectado del Norte Grande (Norte Grande Interconnection System) through its subsidiary Celta, and indirectly participates through Gasoducto Atacama Chile and GasAtacama Generacion, whose principal activity includes diversified mining. It operates 47 electric plants in 5 countries including Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Peru. |
