| The Group's principal activity is producing, distributing and selling beverages under The Coca-Cola Company brand, as well as proprietary and third party brands. Products include soft drinks and carbonated and non-carbonated bottled water. Brands include Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light, Sprite, Sprite Light, Fanta, Fresca, Manzana Lift, Delaware Punch, Senzao, Kin-light, Mickey Aventuras, Ciel, Club Soda, Lourdes, Purasol, Sierra Azul, Sierra Azul (Mineral), Topo Chico, Joya, Joya Light, Bimbo, Manzanita Kris, Sangria Don Diego, Tipp, Topo Chico Flavors. It distributes its products in the northern region of Mexico, primarily in the states of Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Sonora, Sinaloa, Baja California and Bajo California Sur. In 31-December-2008, the Group acquired Noroeste de Argentina, now Embotelladoras Arca de Argentina SA, as part of its plan for geographic expansion. The Group has 13 plants in Mexico and 4 in Argentina. |
