The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and sale chemicals. It operates in three division Specialties, Chromium and Surfactants division. Specialities produces rheological additives providing controlled flow, levelling and antisettling properties to paint/coatings, ink and cosmetics.Its products include organoclays, rheological additives, colourants, waxes and other specialty additives. Chromium produces chromium chemicals with applications covering leather tanning, timber treatment and metal finishing. Its products include dichromate, chrome sulphate, chromic acid, chromic oxide, chromic hydrate and sodium sulphate. Surfactant produces surface active ingredients that are used in a range of applications including oilfield chemicals, pulp and paper and household products. The Group operates in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the Netherlands and China. The Group acquired Deuchem Co. Ltd on 01-July-2008.
