Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The Group objective is to target a rate of return on equity of between 10-15% per annum over the long term by investing in a portfolio of private equity assets. The Group has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Sep-2006. Investment management services are provided by Electra Partners LLP for a priority profit share of 1.5% on the gross value of the Group's investment portfolio. The contract runs for an initial three year period with a 12 month rolling notice period. Neither party may serve notice to terminate during the first two years of the agreement. |
