The Group's principal activity is providing of services and inputs to the rural sector. Other activities include supplying of automotive components, providing of financial and other services to rural and regional customers and management of investor-funded hardwood plantations and manufacture of quality sawn timber products. Rural Services include providing a range of agricultural products and services through a common distribution channel and its associate Australian Agricultural Company Ltd. Automotive Components include the manufacturing and sales of automotive components of which the key components are seating, heating ventilating and air-conditioning systems. Financial Services include providing a range of financial services through a common distribution channel and the joint venture Elders Rural Bank. Forestry includes the Group's interests in forestry plantations and processing.
