Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve an increase of the Net Asset Value per share by more than the growth in the FTSE All-Share Index and growth in dividends per share by more than the rate of the United Kingdom inflation. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007. Investment management services are provided by Fidelity Investments International for a fee calculated at 0.26% per annum of the total assets of the Company, after deducting current liabilities and excluding commonly managed funds. The agreement is terminable by either party giving to the other not less than three months' notice. |
