The merchandise consists of consumable merchandise, variety merchandise and seasonal merchandise. Consumable merchandise includes candy and food, health and beauty care and house wares such as paper and plastics. Variety merchandise includes toys, durable house wares, gifts, party goods, greeting cards, hardware, and other items. Seasonal merchandise includes Easter, Halloween and Christmas related items. It also includes summer toys, lawn and garden merchandise. These stores are operated under the names of Dollar Tree, Dollar Bills, Dollar Express, Only One Dollar and Only $One. At 31-Jan-2009, the Group operated 3,591stores in 48 states. |
