| The Group's principal activities include importing, marketing and selling automobiles, commercial vehicles and spare parts of Volkswagen Group brands (VW, Audi, Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Scania, Krone, Meiller and VW Marine Engines) and Thermoking climate control systems. It operates in a single segment. The Group has supplemented its main business lines of import and distributorship with the provision of automotive financing, spare parts and accessories trade, logistics and after sales services, used car trade, fleet rental and insurance. The Group's main brands are Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Seat, Skoda and Scania. VW AG has granted a license to Group to import and distribute VW Light Commercial Vehicles in Egypt, through its subsidiary Dogus Auto Misr. The Group operates mainly in Turkey. In 2008, the Group acquired Seat. |
