The Group's principal activity is to provide integrated employee benefit services. It manages all aspects of employee absence to enhance the productivity of its clients and provides the related insurance coverage: short-term and long-term disability, primary and excess workers' compensation, group life, travel accident and dental. The Group's two reportable segments are Group employee benefit products and Asset accumulation products. The Group emphasizes the origination of specialty insurance products directed to the employee benefits market, primarily group life, disability, workers' compensation and travel accident insurance. The asset accumulation products consist primarily of single premium deferred annuities and flexible premium annuities.
