| The Group's principal activity is in the manufacture and sale of paper pulp products and processed paper products. Its products include newspapers, printing paper, wrapping papers, cardboard, tissue paper, toilet paper, wet paper towels, rayon paper, oil blotting paper and others. Through its subsidiaries, the Company is also involved in the procurement of raw materials, the provision of distribution and transportation services, as well as the afforestation, leisure and restaurant businesses, among others. The operations are carried out through three divisions: Paper and Pulp; Paper processed products and Other operations. The Paper and Pulp division manufactures paper for newspapers, printing, packaging, sanitation, cardboard and pulp. The Paper processed products division deals in corrugated cardboard, printing, nappies and napkins. The other operations relate to timber, forestation, machinery and electric power. |
