The Group's principal activity is to design, manufacture and sell excimer light source systems and installed base products for use in photolithography systems used in the manufacture of semiconductors. It operates in two segments: Cymer and TCZ. The Cymer consists of products including photolithography light sources and installed base products. The TCZ provides the growing market for LTPS processing used in the manufacture of OLED flat panel displays. The Products consist of photolithography light sources, replacement parts and service. Photolithography light sources produce narrow bandwidth pulses of short wavelength light. It provides replacement of certain components, subassemblies, replacement parts and other spare parts of its photolithography lasers as needed by its customers. It currently supplies DUV light sources to each of the lithography tool manufacturers, ASML, Canon, and Nikon.
