The Group's principal activities are developing, producing and marketing of vaccines and antibodies against infectious disease worldwide. The Group operates in three segments: Product sales, License fees and Service fees. Product sales include Paediatric, Respiratory and Tavel and endemic vaccines.Paediatric vaccines also include Quinvaxem, Epaxal, Hepavax-Gene and MoRu-Viraten while Respiratory vaccines include Inflexal and Travel and endemic vaccines include Epaxal, Vivotif and Dukoral. License fees include revenues resulted from payments related to rabies and influenza programs from sanofi pasteur and upfront fees received from Talecris. Service fees include revenues related to various collaboration agreements. The Group operates in Europe, North America and Asia.
