| The Group's principal activities are designing, manufacturing and marketing packaging products for consumer goods. The Group's products include steel and aluminum cans for food, beverage, household and other consumer products, metal and plastic caps, closures and dispensing systems. It also manufactures beverage, food and aerosol cans, specialty packaging, metal closures and caps, plastic closures and health and beauty care packaging. The Group's reportable segments are Americans Division, European Division and Asia-Pacific Division. On 31-Dec-2007, the Group operated 141 plants in 41 countries. It operates in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, China and Southeast Asia. |
