The Group operates in four segments namely Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical Products, Medical Supplies and Imaging Solutions. It is a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of medical devices and supplies, diagnostic imaging agents, pharmaceuticals and other healthcare products for use in clinical and home settings. Imaging Solutions includes the development, manufacture and market of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast products. Pharmaceutical Products includes the development, manufacture and distribution of dosage pharmaceuticals. And Medical Supplies includes the development, manufacture and sale of nursing care products. During fiscal 2008, the Group Acquired Tissue Science Laboratories plc and Scandius Biomedical Inc. During fiscal 2008, the Group discontinued its Retail Product segment. |
