The Group's principal activities are developing, constructing, owning and operating energy generating facilities and water and wastewater facilities. The Group's operations are carried out through two business segments: Electricity and steam sales and Waste and Energy Services. The Group also engage in the independent power production business outside the Americas. It also owns, have equity investments in, and/or operate 60 energy generation facilities, 50 of which are in the United States and 10 of which are located outside the United States.
