CNIM Constructions Industrielles de la Mediterranee SA (CNIM) is a France-based company providing high technology turnkey industrial solutions worldwide to three sectors: environment, mechanical engineering and energy. In the environmental sector, CNIM is engaged in household waste, biomass waste-to-energy plants and flue gas treatment systems. In the mechanical engineering field, CNIM has two areas of activity: defense systems and transport solutions. Defense systems include the development of technologies for the defense, space industry and scientific research. Transport solutions comprise equipment such as escalators, lifts and sliding door systems. The Company operates two businesses in the energy sector: CNIM Babcock Services, which repairs and maintains industrial boilers and household waste treatment plants, and Babcock Wanson, which develops industrial boilers, and air and water treatments. The Company's other subsidiaries include Bertin Technologies and LAB.
