Conquest Mining Limited is an Australia-based mineral exploration company. The Company’s exploration projects include the Mt Carlton gold/silver/copper project JV with Gold Fields Australasia Pty Ltd near Charters Towers; the Crush Creek gold project; and the Collinsville gold/copper project. As of June 30, 2009, Conquest Mining Limited had 18 tenements in the Central North Queensland Area, of which 14 are granted and four are under application. These aggregate 3,472 square kilometers, which comprises 1,085 sub-blocks. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009, the Company and Gold Fields Australasia Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gold Fields Limited, concluded a joint venture agreement over seven contiguous exploration tenements-the Regional JV Area, with 337 sub-blocks covering 1,078 kilometers, but excluding the Mt Carlton Project of seven kilometers.
