| The Group's principal activity is to design and market high-quality, modern American classic accessories. The products include handbags, women's and men's accessories, footwear, outerwear, business cases, sunwear, watches, travel bags, jewelry and fragrance. It has two segments: Direct-to-Consumer segment, which includes Company-operated stores in North America and Japan, its online store and its catalogs. The Indirect segment, which includes department store locations in the United States, international department stores, freestanding retail locations and specialty retailers. As on 30-Jun-2007, it operated through 254 retail stores and 93 factory stores in the United States, five retail stores in Canada and 137 department store shop-in-shops, retail stores and factory stores in Japan. It has its distribution, product development and quality control locations in the United States, Italy, Hong Kong, China and South Korea. |
