Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to allocate approximately 80% of its funds to Qualifying Investments in companies quoted on AIM or OFEX and the balance of 20% to Non-Qualifying Investments. The Company is no longer an Investment Company as defined in Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue & Customs as a Venture Capital Trust in accordance with Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988. Investment management services are provided by Close Investment Ltd for a fee of 2.0% per annum (plus VAT) of the value of funds invested by the Company in both VCT qualifying and non-qualifying investments. The agreement is terminable by either party on 12 months' notice. |
