| The Group's principal activities are manufacturing and marketing of specialty chemicals. The Group operates in four divisions. The Textile, Leather & Paper Chemicals division includes dyes and chemicals for the textile, leather and paper industries. The Pigments and Additives division includes pigments for the use in paints, printing inks, decorative paints, plastics and special areas such as cosmetics. The Masterbatches division includes concentrated pigment and additive preparations for engineering plastics, spin dyeing and packaging. The Functional Chemicals division includes raw materials for the manufacture of cleaning and cosmetical products, emulsifiers, polishing agents, lubricants, coolants, glycol specialties and other. On 7 May 2007, the Group sold associate Abieta Chemie GmbH. |
