| The Group's principal activity is to provide banking services, financial services and wealth management services to individuals and businesses. The Group operates through three lines of business: Specialty commercial, Regional banking and Wealth management. The Specialty commercial segment provides commercial mortgages, real estate construction lending, term loans, revolving credit arrangements, inventory and accounts receivable financing, and letters of credit. The Regional banking segment provides direct loans, home equity loans and lines of credit, residential mortgage loans, checking, savings and money market accounts and debit and credit cards. The Wealth Management segments provide personal trust and planning, investment management, estate settlement and administration services. As on 31-Dec-2008, the Group operates through 233 offices and 266 ATM locations throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Iowa and Indiana. |
