The Group's principal activities producing and selling of coal. Other activities include generating and selling of power, operating coal mines and integrated railway network and seaports. The primary customers of the Group's coal sales include power plants and metallurgical producers in the People's Republic of China. The Group also operates power plants in the PRC, which are engaged in the generation and sale of coal-based power to provincial/regional electric grid companies.
