| The Company's principal business is the provision of broadband and fixed-line telecommunications services in the northern service region in China. The northern service region consists of Beijing Municipality, Tianjin Municipality, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Shandong Province, Liaoning Province, Heilongjiang Province, Jilin Province, Neimenggu Autonomous Region and Shanxi Province. Services offered by the Company include broadband and other Internet-related services including XDSL and LAN services; fixed line telephone services consisting of local, domestic long distance and international long distance services; business and data communications services, including managed data and leased line services; and information and communications technology services (the "ICT"), including services such as system integration, software development, maintenance and consultancy. |
