The Group's principal activities are carried out in three areas that include short-term investment, financial services and long-term investment plus other operations. Other activities include the provision of investment advisory, management, secretarial, corporate finance, money lending, leveraged foreign exchange trading, futures brokerage, insurance agency, investment research, stock brokerage and nominee services; investment in telecommunications business; property investment; and investment in banking operations. Operations are carried out in Hong Kong, the British Virgin Islands and the People's Republic of China.
