The Group's principal activity is to own and consult business entities operating in the People's Republic of China. It operates in two primary divisions: Management Services and Advisory Services. The Management Services division acquires controlling interests of Chinese business entities which is consolidated as either the wholly or majority owned subsidiaries. Through this ownership control, it provides management advice as well as investment capital. The Advisory Services provides consulting services to Chinese entities seeking access to the U.S. capital markets. The Group acquired CDI Beijing in June 2008 and CDI Metal Recycling and CDI China in February 2008.
