It operates in three segments: exploration & production, marketing and service operations. Exploration & production includes production of crude oil & natural gas from underground reservoirs. Marketing segment provides marketing services, including commodity price structuring, contract administration & nomination services. And Service operations includes trucking business utilized primarily to transport drilling rigs for both Chesapeake and third parties. The major properties are located in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Montana & Colorado. |
