| The Group's principal activity is providing capital, management and skills to underwrite insurance business at Lloyd's. The Group provides capital, expertise and management skills required to underwrite insurance business at Lloyds. The Group's core business is Syndicate 1084 through non marine, marine and motor businesses. The Group also manages and provides capital support to Nuclear Syndicate 1176. The Group also provides managing agency services provided to third party insurance companies and currently manage Syndicate 3210 for Mitsui Sumitomo, Syndicate 1301 for Clal Insurance and Syndicate 4000 for Quanta Capital Holdings Limited. The Group offers syndicate run-off and closure solutions to reduce the costs for capital providers of leaving the Lloyd's market. The Group has operations in the United Kingdom, Germany and Denmark. |
