The Group's principal activities are building and selling quality manufactured homes and modular homes. It mainly produces single-storey, ranch-style homes and also builds one and one-half storey and two-storey homes, single-section homes, cape cod style homes and multi-family units such as townhouses. The Group operates in three segments. The North American manufacturing segment consists of 26 manufacturing facilities that primarily construct factory-built manufactured and modular houses throughout the United States and in western Canada. The international manufacturing segment consists of Caledonian Building Systems Limited, a manufacturer of steel-framed modular buildings for prisons, military accommodations, hotels and residential units. It operates 4 manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom. The retail segment currently operates 14 retail sales centers that sell manufactured houses to consumers throughout California.
