The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and distribute fertiliser, textiles, food processing and software. The Group operates in six segments: Own manufactured fertilisers, Trading, P2O5, Shipping, Textile and Other. The Own manufactured fertiliser segment comprises of manufacturing and trading of urea, pesticides, fertilisers, bio-fertilisers, seeds and Phosphoric Acid. The Trading segment includes the purchase and sale of fertilisers and agri inputs. The Shipping segment includes transportation of crude oil, dry and liquid products through vessels owned or hired by shipping division. The Other segment includes the yarn and food processing business activities of the Company. Its fertiliser plant is located in Rajasthan; textile mills in Himachal Pradesh and Shipping Division in Mumbai.
