| The Group's principal activities are to design, develop and support digital signal processor (DSP) cores and integrated application solutions for wireless and digital multimedia products. DSP core are key to functionality of a wide range of products that includes cellular phones, cd players, dvd players, digital stereo systems, hard disks and drives, digital cameras and digital televisions. The programmable DSP cores are used as the central processor in semiconductor chips made for specific applications. These chips are used in a wide variety of electronic devices, including digital cellular telephones, modems, hard disk drives, mp3 players and digital cameras and are critical to the performance of the electronic products in which they are used.
