The Company's principal activity is manufacture and markets cement. The Company operates in four segments: Cement, Textiles, Pulp & Paper and Other. Cement segment manufactures and markets cement and clinker. Textiles segment products include yarn, cloth and denim cloth, viscose filament yarn and tyre yarn. Pulp and Paper segment manufactures and markets writing and printing paper. Other segment includes salt works, chemicals and forticulture. It's plants located in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The Company sells its textile products under the brand name of Cottons by Century.
