The Group's principal activities are carried out in two segments: local telephony and long distance. Local telephony provides fixed wire local telephone services. Long distance provides local and international long distance telephone services, excluding long distance provided from public or rural telephones, data transmission services. Other services include providing corporate network, Internet services and interconnection of clients to cellular networks. The Group operates in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and the United States.
