| The Group's principal activity is to operate three restaurant brands in the quick-casual and quick-service restaurant. It operates through three segments: Burger King Restaurants, Taco Cabana Restaurants and Pollo Tropical Restaurants. Burger King Restaurants features the flame-broiled Whopper sandwich, as well as a variety of hamburgers and other sandwiches, fries, salads, breakfast items and other offerings. Taco Cabana Restaurants offers fresh Tex-Mex and traditional Mexican style food, including sizzling fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos, tacos, other Tex-Mex dishes, fresh-made flour tortillas, frozen margaritas and beer. Pollo Tropical Restaurants offers tropical fruit juices and spices, including roast pork, sandwiches, grilled ribs offered with a selection of sauces, Caribbean style side dishes and salads. As of 31-Dec-2007, the Group had 553 restaurants located in 16 states. |
