| The Group's principal activities are to provide cargo handling solutions for ports, terminals, ships and distribution measured by turnover of Group's product and service offering. The Group operates in three business segments: Kalmar, Hiab and MacGREGOR. Kalmar provides container and heavy load handling equipment, has activities in terminals, ports, heavy industry and distribution centres. Hiab provides on-road load handling solutions for moving, lifting, loading and unloading products, goods or raw material from vehicles. MacGREGOR provides marine cargo flow solutions, offshore solutions and related services. The Group operates in the following geographical areas: Europe, Middle East and Africa, Americas and Asia Pacific. The Group acquired Idea Design & Consulting S.r.l, Del Equipment (UK) Limited, Ultron Lift Corp., O'Leary's Material Handling Services Pty Ltd., Bowman Cranes (Pty) Limited, Zepro Tailgate (1987) Limited, Platform Crane Service, Inc in 2008. |
