| The Group's principal activity is to capture, process, deliver, manage and archive data and documents to medium and large-sized enterprises. The Group operates in one business unit segment to deliver our software solutions. The Group's products address the fax server, network fax, production fax, e-document delivery, enterprise fax, business process automation/workflow and mobile business markets. It distributes its products primarily through independent distributors, value-added resellers and a global distribution network. Its products run on off-the-shelf server hardware, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows XP, Microsoft.NET and interface with a wide variety of telephony and computer equipment. In July 2007, it acquired Castelle, the maker of a network fax appliance. In January 2008, the group acquired CDT. On January 4, 2008, Captaris Verwaltungs GmbH, wholly owned subsidiary of the group acquired Oce Document Technologies GmbH. |
