The Group's principal activity is to provide exclusive online postsecondary education services through its wholly owned subsidiary, Capella University and offer a variety of doctoral, master's and bachelor's programs. It markets in: health and human services, business management and technology and education. It also participates in the federal student financial aid programs authorized by Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, which are administered by the United States Department of Education. As of 31-Dec-2008, it offered over 1,020 online courses and 22 academic programs with 111 specializations to more than 26,800 learners.
