Thomson Financial Business Description:
| The Group's principal activities are to provide regulated distribution and transmission of electric energy and natural gas and related non-regulated operations. It operates in four segments: Utilities, Global Enterprises, Power Generation and Corporate and Others. The Utilities segment provides regulated distribution and transmission of electric energy and water, as well as, regulated transportation of natural gas. The Power Generation segment includes the non-regulated supply of electricity and cogeneration steam. The Global Enterprises segment includes the non-regulated gathering, processing, storage, purchase and sale of natural gas, the provision of project management and technical services, billing services, payment processing, credit, collection and call centre services and other services. The Corporate and Other segment includes commercial real estate owned by the Corporation in Alberta. The Group operates in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. |
