| The Group's principal activities are carried out through four business segments: Canadian Tire Retail, Petroleum, Financial Services and Work Wearhouse. Canadian Tire Retail includes shipments of merchandise to the Associate Dealers. It also offers large assortment of national and retail brands such as automotive parts, accessories and service, sports and leisure products and home products. Petroleum retails gasoline, car washes, propane and convenience items. Financial Services offers variety of financial products such as branded credit cards, financing and managing customer credit accounts and also manages the Canadian Tire 'Money' on the Card loyalty program. Work Wearhouse offers men's and ladies' clothing, footwear and accessories. As on 31-Dec-2007, the Group operated 473 Canadian Tire retail stores, 258 Convenience stores, 266 gas bars and 74 car washes. |
