The Group's principal activity is to operate 100 yen coin chain shops as both direct retailer and franchiser. The operation includes the retail of daily necessaries such as kitchen tools, dishes, toiletry goods, cosmetics, cleaning goods and stationery and processed foods such as seasonings, retort foods, tinned foods, snacks, pet foods and soft drinks. The operations are carried out through the following divisions; Daily goods; Processed foods and Other operations. At 30-Nov-2007, the Company has five hundred and eighty three direct shops and two hundred and thirty four FC shops all based in Japan.
